Welcome to OUTdoors Nashville - the Middle Tennessee LGBTQ adventuring club. Join us for hiking, backpacking, and camping through our local wonderful big backyard.
OUTdoors Nashville is a judge-free Meetup open to all backgrounds, ages, and experience levels. Even though we are primarily a gay men's organization, people of all identities, friends and allies are always welcome! If you have a four-legged friend that you would like to bring along experience free, provided they are on a leash, play adv with others, and permitted based on location (not otherwise noted in the event’s description).
Adventuring with us starts with you, and probably the most invigorating part about our group is that our outings are just as diverse as our members. Whether it’s leisurely day hikes around town, car camping at a mention park, or multi-night backpacks in the mountains we compete to maintain an active year-round calendar. Campgrounds for LGBTQ men aren’t a novel concept—Middle Tennesseans have, in recent years, had two nearby options, the clothing-optional Timberfell Lodge and Whispering Oaks. These have enjoyed popularity over the years, and in fact, the Conductors recently held their annual run at Whispering Oaks. On June 15–16, , Sugar Creek Campground, located in Only, Tennessee, held its soft launch, and its grand opening is slated for July 6–7,
With its stunning location and brand-new amenities, the new camp is sure to be a hit with those whose idea of a pleasant weekend away involves a tent and a queenly show! Plus, located just an hour west of Nashville, Sugar Creek brings gay camping even closer to town.

Located in the mountains of northeast Tennessee, Timberfell is a gay camping resort and lodge with rooms, apartments, a bunk room and dining. The campground offers 30/50 amp electric and water for RV's and a primitive area for tents. Men only, clothing optional.
