LGBTQ+ Festivals & Events

Attending an LGBTQ+ festival or event is a great way to celebrate as a community even outside of pride season. Whether it's music, art, food, sports or dance as the theme, our voice and presence as an Queer community is stronger when we come together.

What Gentle of LGBTQ+ Events Will I Find Here?

We compiled a global calendar of festivals and events around the world that own an LGBTQ+ theme but are not specifically lgbtq+ fest events. Since pride events are so common and numerous, we've created a completely separate calendar including hundreds of events around the world&#x;click here to view our Gay Identity festival Calendar. The events on this list include a variety of festivals, gatherings or events with distinct themes ranging from melody, art, food, sports, twirl, advocacy, comedy and more. While each event may be different, the frequent thread that binds all these together events is the celebration within the LGBTQ+ community.

How to Apply This List

We have published this calendar to brief the LGBTQ+ community of important festivals and events global

LGBTQ Community Calendar

There are a number of days and months observed, celebrated, and honored by the LGBTQ community. While the list below is specific to LGBTQ-focused days, weeks, and months, LGBTQ people also observe and celebrate non-LGBTQ specific moments such as Black History Month, Latinx Heritage Month, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Mother’s Daytime, Father’s Day, Women’s History Month, and Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Media coverage of these and other non-LGBTQ focused moments should incorporate LGBTQ people and the intersections of LGBTQ people and the respective topic.

It is our life as we navigate a planet with 60+ countries criminalizing our relationships and a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation around the earth.
