John Travolta Addresses Same-sex attracted Rumors, Pending Lawsuit By an Alleged Former Lover
In a new interview with The Daily Beast, John Travolta, 60, opens up about rumors that he's gay -- specifically a lawsuit from a man who alleged he was Travolta's former pilot, and that the two were engaged in a connection that was more than professional.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Douglas Gotterba -- who worked for John Travolta's aircraft company Alto in the '80s -- will get the opportunity to contend in a lawsuit that he holds no confidentiality duties to the Grease actor, and is therefore free to write a publication he’s allegedly been planning.
"This is every celebrity's Achilles heel. It's just about people wanting money," Travolta says about the lawsuit. "That’s all. It happens on many levels."

As to why these types of rumors seem to target him more than other celebrities, Travolta surprisingly says he actually doesn't "care that much about it."
"Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff g
John Travolta finally speaks out about gay fling allegations: Its my Achilles heel
John Travolta has finally spoken out about his sexuality after describing endless gay rumours about him as his ‘Achilles heel’.
The married Grease star smash out after former employee Douglas Gotterba alleged he had a six-year affair with the actor in the s. ‘It’s just about people wanting coins. It happens on many levels,’ said the father- of-three. ‘This is every celebrity’s Achilles heel.’
This summer, year-old Travolta failed in a legal bid to stop his former personal pilot from sharing details about the alleged connection. Gotterba now plans to pen a tell-all book.
But the devoted Scientologist has shrugged off the jibes, along with other previous claims from two male masseurs who unsuccessfully tried to sue him for battery two summers ago.
‘I don’t care that much about it. I grant all the media stuff go a long age ago because I can’t control it,’ said the actor. ‘I think that’s why it persists, to some degree.’

SpeculationonJohn Travolta's sexual orientation has dogged the actor for years. Is he or isn't he gay? He has been married to actress Kelly Preston since Publicly, they have always maintained that their marriage is completely traditional. So why do these rumors persist? Is it mere speculation? Is he living a private homosexual life? Is he an easy target because of the roles that he has played? I have a somewhat vested interest in this story, because nearly three years ago I left my husband when I discovered he was gay. I have a particular disdain for the "closet" and for anyone perpetuating secrets and lies about their sexual orientation.
John Travolta is far from the only high-profile personality who has dealt with these types of accusations. Others have included Tom Cruise, Ryan Seacrest, George Clooney, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, and even Oprah Winfrey. In the case of Travolta, most of the allegations have been from men seeking monetary gain, although not all of them have sought money, as one man simply went to the press with his story. Then there is Vikki Lizzi, the long

"Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don't care," Fisher told the Advocate. "Look, I'm sorry that he's uncomfortable with it, and that's all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss. Just leave it be."
Fisher was answering a ask from an interviewer with the gay glossy about Travolta's legal team demanding that Gawker, an online gossip site, remove a recent post suggesting that he's participated in oral sex with men at LA-based spas.
The interview follows a comment Fisher made about Travolta's sexuality to Out, another queer publication, in
