Joshua Rush just came out as bisexual person in a moving letter to his fans.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, the year-old Andi Mack actor—who played Cyrus on the Disney Channel series, the TV network's first LGBTQ character—opened up to his followers about his sexuality.

"first to respond to this tweet is bi lol," Rush tweeted, before replying to his post. "first! i win! it's me. i'm bi. And now that I've said that, I have a several things to rant about. There are more vital things to talk about than me liking a whole bunch of genders, but I do desire to share a scant things with you guys."

Disney Channel star Joshua Rush has come out as bisexual.

The player tweeted on Tuesday that despite playing a gay ethics, Cyrus, on "Andi Mack," it was difficult for him to be common about his sexuality.

He added that he suffered from "internalized homophobia" that led to an "existential crisis," but now, "I release it into the world."

"Being bi isn't all of my individuality, nor is it the most crucial part of my identity," Rush tweeted. "Bi erasure and issues like it are important, but trans women of color still hold a life expectancy of THIRTY FIVE YEARS and that is absolutely unacceptable."

Rush, 17, made history last year when his "Andi Mack" character came out as gay, becoming the first Disney Channel character ever to do so. The positive response from fans was inspirational, he said.

“Andi Mack” star Joshua Rush knew when he signed on to engage Cyrus Goodman, a buddy of Andi Mack, that his character would be upright out in the children's show. But it was when fans started reaching out to Rush that he realized the significance of his storyline to viewers.

Rush’s character comes out as gay in the show, a first for a Disney Channel role.

“I’m really proud to be able to play Cyrus. I think it’s an exciting role to be able to play for Disney,” Rush told "Good Morning America." “But I think more than anything, it’s an exciting role for these kids that are going to finish up seeing Cyrus on their screen and going, ‘Oh, that’s me! I recognize that and I understand that and I resonate with that.' I think it shows those kids that their stories are valid.”
