'The Walking Dead' Just Confirmed That Jesus Is Gay

Ever since Tom Payne made his The Walking Dead debut a year ago as fan-favorite Jesus, speculation has brewed over how much of his persona from the comic books would be retained – and specifically, whether his sexuality would remain the same. Payne said last year that he saw no reason why his on-screen Jesus wouldn't be gay, as he is in the comics, and in tonight's episode "The Other Side," he officially became the show's third major gay character.

Between the fact that Jesus is an elusive and taciturn guy to initiate with, and the proof that these characters are living in fear of a fascist dictator during a zombie apocalypse, it's no surprise that it took a while for the subject to appear up. But Jesus knows who he is – he's one of the more self-possessed characters in the cast – and there is no dramatic "coming out" moment here, during a moment of bonding between Jesus and Maggie.

During the same conversation, we learn Jesus grew up in a collective home, and has never felt like he belonged anywhere until no

Michonne

Michonne is a mighty and intriguing ethics, and a potential leader, but she plays second fiddle to Rick. Of all the other major characters, it took the longest to learn of her back story. This is not without consequence, given she is a Black woman. Pale people generally hold an easier period believing that Ebony people are both subhuman and superhuman, rather than complex people much enjoy themselves. That is, White people manage to believe the stereotype that Ebony people are more prone to aggression than White people and therefore that they are less deserving of protection (subhuman). At the same time, Light people believe spot Black people include higher physical power, that they are capable of almost magical feats, while and also existence less prone to feeling pain (superhuman). Neither stereotype is factual, but these biases are used to justify hostility against Black people. For most of the show Michonne was cast in this light, as an outcast who revelled in killing. It took a long time for the writers to let us look another side to her, and this is not the only time they

The Walking Dead: We Finally Perceive For Sure Whether Or Not Daryl Is Gay

The question of whether or not The Walking Dead's Daryl is gay has been a topic of interest among some fans, due in large part to comments made by series creator Robert Kirkman earlier this year regarding the character's sexuality, which has remained unaddressed on the series. Tonight, Kirkman went on record to clear the situation up. In his exact words, "Daryl Dixon is actually straight."

(No Walking Dead mid-season finale spoilers ahead.)

Robert Kirkman was among the guests to appear on tonight's episode of the Walking Dead post-episode communicate show Talking Dead. A fan asked when Daryl was going to get some action on the show -- and not killin' zombies action, but you know, action action -- and Kirkman addressed the "hubbub" he caused when he talked about Daryl's sexuality a while back.

"We compete Daryl Dixon as being somewhat asexual on the show. I think that he is a very introverted character. I reflect that's some of his appeal. I do have to evident something up though. In The Walking

is the main character gay?
I played the first game when she was a little girl. I'm not interested in playing the rest, but was curious if the main ethics girl (forgot her name) becomes gay.
