David St. Pierre, owner of The Menagerie gay lock and nightclub in downtown Riverside and a public figure in its business and arts community, has died. He was It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the Menagerie must proclaim the passing of our owner David St. Pierre, a Sept. 7 announce on The Menageries Facebook page states. After a long strongly fought battle, David passed away due to complications of cancer. St. Pierre died Tuesday, Sept. 6, according to his son, Joshua Roa St. Pierre. St. Pierre was beloved in Riversides business and LGBTQcircles, helping organize events, fashion shows, concerts and festivals at The Menagerie club, the Facebook announce states. He loved harmony, theater, movies, and as we all know, a good cocktail with friends.
